As with many of the best places, the Kinmel Arms has been something of a long term love affair for Lynn and Tim Watson who bought the charming premises in 2001 having both been visitors there as kids. In the following years, the Kinmel has been revitalized as the Watsons have employed their own obvious good taste and enthusiasm to create a charming, comfortable and luxurious place to stay and eat.
This seventeenth-century coaching inn has everything – a glorious location (the Elwy Valley, on the edge of the Kinmel Estate), an interior that's grander & more genteel than most country pubs, plus a local reputation for seasonally influenced menus featuring market-fresh fish, local meats, vegetables & Snowdonia cheeses.

The rooms comprise four individually designed suites all having a clean modern feel which at the same time employs the use of quality natural (and often local) materials.
Handmade, king size, oak and maple beds, bathrooms of porcelain and travertine Spanish limestone and balconies crafted beautifully out of Welsh green oak are typical of the high standards. The rooms also come equipped with contemporary equipment like LCD TV's and wireless broadband access.

With accolades that include being voted the 8th sexiest place to be fed by Observer food monthly and "Mild Pub of the Year 2008" by Camra you can see why the Kinmel Arms is the talk of the North Wales coastline.
